19099 - With a weak chain of narration, from Abū Umāmah, that the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) said: "'Remaining therein for ages (aḥqāb),'" he said: "The ḥuqb is one thousand months, and the month is thirty days, and the year is twelve months, and the month is three hundred and sixty days, every day of which is a thousand years of what you count, so the ḥuqb is eighty thousand years."
His (Exalted is He) saying: "Except for scalding water and pus"
19100 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, "Except for scalding water and pus," he said: "The scalding water (ḥamīm) is the hot [water] that burns; the pus (ghassāq) is the freezing, bitter cold (zamharīr)."
His (Exalted is He) saying: "A recompense in accordance (with their deeds)"
19101 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "A recompense in accordance," he said: "It corresponds to their deeds."
His (Exalted is He) saying: "Indeed, they did not expect account"
19102 - From Mujāhid, regarding His saying: "A recompense in accordance," he says: "The recompense corresponds to the deed." "Indeed, they did not expect an account," he said: "They did not fear it," and in another wording: "They did not care, so they would believe in the Resurrection."
His (Exalted is He) saying: "So taste [the penalty], for We shall not increase you except in torment"
19103 - From al-Ḥasan ibn Dīnār, he said: "I asked Abū Barzah al-Aslamī about the most severe verse in the Book of God upon the people of the Fire, and he said: 'The saying of God: "So taste [the penalty], for We shall not increase you except in torment."'"
His (Exalted is He) saying: "Indeed, for the righteous is attainment"
19104 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "Indeed, for the righteous is attainment," he said: "A place of pleasure." "And full-breasted [companions]," he said: "With budding breasts." "Equal in age," he said: "Of the same age." "And a cup full," he said: "Filled."
