with rain and vegetation; as for the Angel of Death, he is entrusted with seizing souls; and as for Isrāfīl, he descends upon them with the command.

19118 - From Mujāhid, he said: "The crumbling bone" is the bone that decays, then the wind enters into it.

His (Exalted is He) saying: "And behold, they will be in the open, bright land"

19119 - From Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī, regarding "And behold, they will be in the open, bright land," he said: "A white, reddish earth, like a loaf of bread made of pure flour."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "I am your most exalted lord"

19120 - From al-Suddī, he said: "Mūsā (Moses) said: 'O Pharaoh, would you like me to restore your youth so you do not grow old, for your kingdom not to be taken from you, for the pleasure of marriage, drink, and riding to be returned to you, and if you die, you will enter Paradise, and you will believe in me?' These words—which were gentle—took hold in his mind. He said: 'Stay as you are until Hāmān comes.' When Hāmān came, he told him, and Hāmān discouraged him, saying: 'Will you be patient and worship when you were a lord who was worshipped?' That was when he went out to them, gathered his people, and said: 'I am your most exalted lord.'"

19122 - From ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, he said: "Between the two statements was forty years."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "He raised its ceiling"

19123 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "He raised its ceiling," he said: "He constructed it." "And darkened its night," he said: "He made its night dark."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "And darkened its night"

19124 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, "And darkened its night," he said: "The evening." "And brought out its brightness," he said: "The sun."
