Sūrat al-Takwīr (81)

His (Exalted is He) saying: "When the sun is wrapped up (kuwwirat)."

19139 - From the route of ʿAlī, from Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "When the sun is wrapped up (kuwwirat)," he said: "It has darkened." And regarding "And when the stars fall, dispersing (inkadarat)," he said: "They have changed." And regarding "And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked," he says: "She asked."

19140 - From Saʿīd ibn Jubayr (may Allāh be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Kuwwirat," he said: "It has been hidden (ghuwwirat)." Yaʿqūb said: "In Persian, it is kōr-yihūd (blinded/hidden)."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "And when the stars fall, dispersing (inkadarat)."

19141 - From Abū Maryam, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said regarding His saying: "When the sun is wrapped up (kuwwirat)," he said: "It is wrapped up in Hell." And regarding "And when the stars fall, dispersing (inkadarat)," he said: "They fall into Hell. And everything that was worshipped other than Allāh is in Hell, except for what was from ʿĪsā ibn Maryam and his mother; and even if they had agreed to be worshipped, they would have entered it."

19142 - From Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allāh be pleased with both of them) regarding His saying: "When the sun is wrapped up (kuwwirat)," he said: "Allāh will wrap up the sun, the moon, and the stars on the Day of Resurrection in the sea, and Allāh will send a westerly wind (dabūr) which will blow upon it until it returns as fire."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "And when the wild beasts are gathered (ḥushirat)."

19143 - From Ubayy ibn Kaʿb, he said: "There are six signs before the Day of Resurrection: while the people are in their markets, the light of the sun will go away. While they are like that, the mountains will fall upon the face of the earth, move, shake, and become mixed. The jinn will be terrified to the humans, and the humans to the jinn. The beasts, birds, and wild animals will become mixed, and they will surge against one another. And [regarding] 'And when the wild beasts are gathered,' he said: 'They will be mixed.' And [regarding] 'And when the she-camels ten months pregnant are neglected (ʿuṭṭilat),' he said: 'Their owners will neglect them.' And 'And when the seas are set on fire.'"
