His statement, the Almighty: "They are given to drink from a sealed nectar, whose seal is musk; and for that, let the competitors compete. And its mixture is from Tasnīm."

19184 - From Mujāhid regarding His statement: "They are given to drink from a sealed nectar," he said: "It is wine." "Whose seal is musk," he said: "Its clay is musk." "And its mixture is from Tasnīm," he said: "Tasnīm is poured upon them from above their dwellings."

19185 - From Ibn Masʿūd regarding His statement: "They are given to drink from a sealed nectar," he said: "The nectar is wine, and 'sealed' means they find its finish to have the taste of musk."

19186 - From Ibn ʿAbbās regarding "a sealed nectar," he said: "It is sealed with musk."

19187 - From Ibn ʿAbbās regarding Tasnīm, he said: "It is the most noble drink of the people of Paradise; it is served pure for those brought near to Allāh, and it is mixed for those on the right."

19188 - From Ibn Masʿūd regarding His statement: "And its mixture is from Tasnīm," he said: "A spring in Paradise that is mixed for the companions of the right, and those brought near drink from it pure."

19189 - My father narrated to us, Abū ʿAwn al-Ziyādī narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Salām b. ʿAjlān informed us, I heard Abū Yazīd al-Madanī from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said to Bashīr al-Ghifārī: "How will you act on a day when people will stand for three hundred years before the Lord of the worlds, of the days of this world, during which no goodness comes to them from the sky, nor are they given any command?" Bashīr said: "Allāh is the One sought for help." He said: "So when you go to your bed, seek refuge in Allāh from the distress of the Day of Resurrection and the evil of the reckoning."
