مجلد 10 · صفحة 33قوله تعالى: فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات

الترجمة · EN

the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Praise be to God who guides from error, and casts error upon whom He wills."

His saying, the Almighty: "So do not let your soul perish in sorrow for them."

17933 - From Qatada and al-Hasan regarding His saying: "Then is he to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive..." He said: Satan made it attractive to them, "so do not let your soul perish in sorrow for them," meaning: do not grieve for them.

His saying, the Almighty: "And We bring the earth to life with it after its death."

17934 - From Qatada, may God be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "And We bring the earth to life with it after its death; thus is the Resurrection," he said: God brings this dead earth to life with this water; likewise, He will resurrect the people on the Day of Resurrection.

His saying, the Almighty: "It is God who sends the winds, and they stir up clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and bring the earth to life with it after its death; thus is the Resurrection."

17935 - From Ibn Mas'ud, may God be pleased with him, he said: An angel will stand with the Trumpet between the heavens and the earth and blow into it, and there will not remain any creature of God in the heavens or on the earth except what God wills. Then God will send from under the Throne a fluid like the semen of men, and their bodies and their flesh will grow from that water just as the earth grows from the soil. Then 'Abd Allah, may God be pleased with him, recited: "It is God who sends the winds, and they stir up clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and bring the earth to life with it after its death; thus is the Resurrection." There will be between the two blows whatever God wills, then an angel will be told and will blow into it, and every soul will go toward its body.

17936 - From Abu Ruzayna al-'Uqayli, may God be pleased with him, he said: I said: O Messenger of God, how does God bring the dead to life? He said: "Have you not passed by a barren land, then passed by it when it was fertile, shaking with greenery?" He said: Yes. He said: "Likewise, God brings the dead to life, and likewise is the Resurrection."

His saying, the Almighty: "Whoever desires honor, then to God belongs all honor."

17937 - From Mujahid, may God be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "Whoever desires honor," he said: through the worship of idols. "Then to God belongs all honor," he said: Then let him seek honor through obedience to God."
