The saying of the Almighty: "Exclusively for you, excluding the believers."
17723 - From Mujahid, may God be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "...if she gives herself to the Prophet," he said: It was made lawful for him without a dowry, and this was not made lawful for him except as "Exclusively for you, excluding the believers." He said: It is specific to the Prophet (peace be upon him). (1)
17724 - From Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The one who gave herself to the Prophet (peace be upon him) was Khawla bint Hakim. (2)
17725 - From Urwa, may God be pleased with him: Indeed Khawla bint Hakim ibn al-Aqwas was among those who gave themselves to the Messenger of God (peace be upon him). (3)
17726 - From Muhammad ibn Ka'b, Umar ibn al-Hakam, and Abdullah ibn Ubaydah, they said: The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) married thirteen women. Six from Quraysh: Khadija, Aisha, Hafsa, Umm Habiba, Sawda, and Umm Salama. Three from Banu Amir ibn Sa'sa'a; two women from Banu Hilal: Maymuna bint al-Harith, and she is the one who gave herself to the Prophet (peace be upon him); and Zaynab, Umm al-Masakin, and she is the one who chose the worldly life; and a woman from Banu al-Harith, and she is the one who sought refuge from him; and Zaynab bint Jahsh; and the two captives: Safiyya bint Huyayy and Juwayriyya bint al-Harith al-Khuza'iyya. 17727 - Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Ahmasi narrated to us, Waki' narrated to me, Musa ibn Ubayda narrated to me, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b, Umar ibn al-Hakam, and Abdullah ibn Ubaydah, they said: The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) married thirteen women. قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: خَالِصَةً لَكَ مِنْ دَوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
١٧٧٢٣ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ، عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: إِنْ وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ قَالَ:
بِغَيْرِ صَدَاقٍ أُحِلَّ لَهُ ذَلِكَ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ ذَلِكَ أُحِلَّ لَهُ إِلا خَالِصَةً لَكَ مِنْ دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ: خَاصَّةٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «١» .
١٧٧٢٤ - عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ، عَنْهَا قَالَ: الَّتِي وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَوْلَةُ بِنْتُ حَكِيمٍ «٢» .
١٧٧٢٥ - عَنْ عُرْوَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ، عَنْهُ: إِنَّ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتَ حَكِيمِ بْنِ الْأَقْوَصِ كَانَتْ مِنَ اللاتِي وَهَبْنَ أَنْفُسَهُنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «٣» .
١٧٧٢٦ - عَنْ مُحَمَّد بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَعُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالُوا: تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثَ عشرة امرأة. ست من قريش خديجة وعائشة وحفصة وأم حبيبة وسورة، وَأُمُّ سَلَمَةَ، وَثَلاثٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صعصعة وامرأتين من بني هلال، ميمونة بن الحرث، وَهِيَ الَّتِي وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَزَيْنَبُ أُمُّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَهِيَ الَّتِي اختارت الدنيا وامرأة من بن الْحَارِثِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي اسْتَعَاذَتْ مِنْهُ، وَزَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جحش والسبيتين صَفَيَّةُ بِنْتُ حَيٍّ وَجُوَيْرِيَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيَّةُ «٤» .
١٧٧٢٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَعُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، قَالُوا: تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثَ عشرة امرأة، ست من قُرَيْشٍ خَدِيجَةُ وَعَائِشَةُ وَحَفْصَةُ، وَأُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ وَسَوْدَةُ، وَأُمُّ سَلَمَةَ وَثَلاثٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَامْرَأَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي هِلالِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ مَيْمُونَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَزَيْنَبُ أُمُّ الْمَسَاكِينِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ كُلابٍ مِنَ الْقَرْطَاءِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي اخْتَارَتِ الدُّنْيَا وَامْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي الجُّونِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي اسْتَعَاذَتْ مِنْهُ وَزَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ الْأَسَدِيَةُ السَّبِيَّتَانُ صَفَيَّةُ بِنْتُ حَيِّ بْنِ أَخْطَبَ وَجُوَيْرِيَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بن عمرو بن المصطلق الخزاعية «٥» .
