18181 - From al-Dahhak, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "Wide-eyed" ('in), he said: "The 'in are the wide-eyed ones."

18182 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "As if they were delicate and preserved eggs," he said: "As if it were the inside of the egg."
18183 - From al-Suddi, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "As if they were delicate and preserved eggs," he said: "The whiteness of the egg when its shell is removed."

18188 - From Zayd ibn Aslam, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "As if they were delicate and preserved eggs," he said: "The eggs which feathers protect, like the eggs of an ostrich that feathers protect from the wind; it is white inclining towards yellow, as if it were shimmering; that is the 'preserved' (maknun)."
18189 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ghassan al-Nahdi narrated to us, 'Abd al-Salam ibn Harb narrated to us, from Layth, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "I am the first of the people to emerge when they are resurrected, I am their speaker when they arrive, I am their bearer of glad tidings when they are grieved, and I am their intercessor when they are detained. The Standard of Praise (Liwa' al-Hamd) will be in my hand on that day, and I am the most honored of the children of Adam before my Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, and there is no boasting. One thousand servants will circulate around me, as if they were delicate and preserved eggs—or: preserved pearls."
