-may Allah be pleased with him- who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Which of you finds the wealth of his heir dearer to him than his own wealth?" They said: O Messenger of Allah, there is not one of us but his own wealth is dearer to him than the wealth of his heir. He said: "Know that there is not one among you but that the wealth of his heir is dearer to him than his own wealth. Your wealth is what you have sent forward, and what belongs to your heir is what you have left behind." He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Who do you consider the strong (al-sur'ah) among you?" We said: He whom men cannot wrestle down. He said: "No, but rather he who controls himself when angry." He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do you know who the al-raqub is?" We said: The one who has no children. He said: "No, but rather the al-raqub is he who has not sent forward any of his children [as a good deed]."
