looking at Ibn al-Zubayr, and he said: May Allah forgive you... three times, or he said: By Allah, I have only known you to be one who fasts frequently, who prays much at night, and who is kind to relatives. As for me, by Allah, I hope that despite the evils you have committed, Allah will not punish you for them after this. He said: Then he turned to me and said: I heard Abu Bakr al-Siddiq saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever does evil in this world will be requited for it."
