1119: 6286: And it is not: 1: Wahb ibn Munabbih said: Moses—peace be upon him—said: "O Lord, why did You take me as a speaker (Kaliman)?"

He sought the action by which Allah made him happy so he could increase in it, so Allah the Almighty said to him: Do you remember when a kid strayed from your flock and you followed it for most of the day, tiring yourself? Then you caught it, kissed it, held it to your chest, and said to it:

You tired me and tired yourself, and you did not get angry at it; because of that, I took you as a speaker (Kaliman).

1120: 6294: A messenger: 1: Al-Hafiz Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili said: Ahmad ibn Ishaq Abu Abd Allah al-Jawhari al-Basri narrated to us, Ali ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Musa ibn Ubaydah al-Rabadhi narrated to us, from Yazid al-Raqashi, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Allah sent eight thousand prophets; four thousand to the Children of Israel, and four thousand to the rest of mankind."

Weak. It contains al-Rabadhi. Al-Majma' (8/210), al-Matalib (3455), Ibn Kathir (2/423), al-Kanz (32278), and al-Hilyah (3/53).

: 6304: And Exalted is He: 2: In Sahih al-Bukhari, from him—peace be upon him:

"Do not exaggerate about me as the Christians exaggerated about Jesus, but say: 'The servant of Allah and His Messenger.'"
