before the morning prayer. He came out and said: "Who are the people?" We replied: "We are the ones who fled." He said: "No, rather you are the ones who return to the fight (al-akkaron). I am your company (fi'atukum), and I am the company of the Muslims."

Al-Majma' (1/104), and he attributed it to al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir," and in its chain is Yazid ibn Rabi'ah, who is very weak.
