1420: 8094: Its capacity: 1: Al-Qurtubi said in the interpretation of this verse: Meaning: its ability in fulfilling the measure and the weight. This implies that these commands are only in what falls under the power of humans regarding caution and protection. What cannot be avoided regarding the discrepancy between two measures does not fall under human capacity and is therefore pardoned. It is said: The measure (al-kayl) refers to the measuring container (al-mikyal).
