8113: Better: 3: It is said: The meaning is: We gave Moses the Torah as an increase upon what Moses already excelled in, from what Allah had taught him before the revelation of the Torah to him. Muhammad ibn Yazid said: The meaning is: "As an improvement upon that which was good," meaning: as an improvement upon that which Allah—Mighty and Majestic is He—favored Moses—peace be upon him—with, in terms of the message and other things.

Al-Qurtubi said: Meaning: from the recitation of their books, and from their languages. And he did not say 'from their study' because every party is a group.

1426: 8133: Your Lord: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: Meaning, the excuse has been removed by the coming of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The clear evidence (al-bayyinah) and the explanation (al-bayan) are one and the same, and what is meant is Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace; the Almighty named him 'the clear evidence'.

1427: 8137: Similar to that: 1: Tafsir Abd al-Razzaq (1/213).

8138: The angels: 2: Al-Bukhari said in the interpretation of this verse: Musa ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, 'Amarah narrated to us, Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The Hour will not be established until the sun rises from its west. So when the people see it, everyone upon the earth will believe." Narrated by al-Bukhari (6/73, 8/132) and Muslim.
