His saying: Alladhina yunfiquna amwalahum fi sabili Allahi thumma la yutbi'una ma anfaqu mannan wa-la adhan (Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury): 262: 2/516. His saying: Qawlun ma'ruf wa-maghfiratun khayrun min sadaqatin yatba'uha adhan (Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury): 2/517. His saying: Halimun (Forbearing): 2/517. His saying: Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu la tubtilu sadaqatikum bi-al-manni wa-al-adha (O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury): 2/517. His saying: Bi-al-manni (With reminders): 2/517. His saying: Wa-al-adha (And injury): 2/517. His saying: Ka-alladhi yunfiqu malahu ri'a'a al-nasi (Like him who spends his wealth only to be seen by the people): 2/517. His saying: Wa-la yu'minu bi-Allahi wa-al-yawmi al-akhiri (And does not believe in Allah and the Last Day): 2/518. His saying: Fa-mathaluhu ka-mathali safwanin (His likeness is that of a smooth rock): 2/518. His saying: Safwanin 'alayhi turabun (A smooth rock upon which is dust): 2/518. His saying: Fa-tarakahu saldan (And leaves it bare): 2/518. His saying: La yaqdiruna 'ala shay'in mimma kasabu wa-Allahu la yahdi al-qawma al-kafirina (They shall not be able to do anything with what they have earned, and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people): 2/518. His saying: Wa-mathalu alladhina yunfiquna amwalahumu ibtigha'a mardati Allahi (And the example of those who spend their wealth seeking the pleasure of Allah): 265: 2/519. His saying: Wa-tathbitan min anfusihim (And as a confirmation from themselves): 2/519. His saying: Ka-mathali jannatin bi-rabwatin (Is like a garden on high ground): 2/520. His saying: Asaba-ha wabilun (Which is hit by a downpour): 2/520. His saying: Fa-atat ukulaha di'fayni (So it brings forth its fruit twofold): 2/521. His saying: Di'fayni (Twofold): 2/521. His saying: Fa-in lam yusibha wabilun fa-tallun (And if it is not hit by a downpour, then a light rain): 2/521. His saying: Wa-Allahu bima ta'maluna basirun (And Allah is Seeing of what you do): 2/522. His saying: A-yawaddu ahadukum (Would one of you like): 2/522.
