His saying: An takuna lahu jannatun min nakhilin wa-a'nab (That he should have a garden of date palms and grapes): 2/522. His saying: Lahu fiha min kulli al-thamarati (In which he has every kind of fruit): 2/523. His saying: Wa-asabahu al-kibaru wa-lahu dhurriyyatun du'afa'u (And old age has hit him, and he has weak offspring): 2/523. His saying: Fa-asaba-ha i'sarun (So a whirlwind strikes it): 2/524. His saying: Fihi narun (Containing fire): 2/524. His saying: Fa-ihtaraqat (So it is consumed by fire): 2/524. His saying: Kadhalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu al-ayati (Thus does Allah make clear to you the signs): 2/525. His saying: La'allakum tatafakkaruna (That you might give thought): 2/525. His saying: Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu (O you who have believed): 2/525. His saying: Anfiqu (Spend): 2/525. His saying: Min tayyibati (From the good things): 2/526. His saying: Wa-mimma akhrajna lakum min al-ardi (And from that which We have produced for you from the earth): 2/527. His saying: Wa-la tayammam (And do not aim for): 2/527. His saying: Al-khabitha (The evil/defective): 2/527. His saying: Minhu tunfiquna (From it you spend): 2/528. His saying: Wa-lastum bi-akhidhihi illa an tughmidu fihi (And you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes [i.e., with reluctance] regarding it): 2/528. His saying: Wa'lamu anna Allaha ghaniyyun hamidun (And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy): 2/529. His saying: Al-Shaytan (Satan): 268: 2/529. His saying: Ya'idukum al-faqra (He threatens you with poverty): 2/529. His saying: Wa-ya'murukum bi-al-fahsha'i (And orders you to immorality): 2/530. His saying: Wa-Allahu ya'idukum maghfiratan minhu (And Allah promises you forgiveness from Him): 2/530. His saying: Wa-fadlan wa-Allahu wasi'un 'alimun (And bounty; and Allah is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing): 2/531. His saying: Yu'ti al-hikmata man yasha'u (He gives wisdom to whom He wills): 269: 2/531. His saying: Man yasha'u (Whom He wills): 2/532. His saying: Wa-man yu'ta al-hikmata faqad utiya khayran kathiran wa-ma yadhakkharu illa ulu al-albab (And whoever is given wisdom has certainly been given much good, and none will remember except those of understanding): 2/533.
