His saying: Wa-ma yadhakkharu illa ulu al-albab (And none will remember except those of understanding): 2/534. His saying: Wa-ma anfaqtum min nafaqatin aw nadhartum min nadhrin fa-inna Allaha ya'lamuhu (And whatever you spend of expenditures or make of vows, indeed, Allah knows thereof): 270: 2/535. His saying: Wa-ma lil-zalimina min ansarin (And the wrongdoers will have no helpers): 2/535. His saying: In tubdu al-sadaqati fani'imma hiya (If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good): 2/535. His saying: Wa-yukaffiru 'ankum min sayyi'atikum, wa-Allahu bima ta'maluna khabirun (And He will remove from you some of your misdeeds; and Allah, with what you do, is All-Acquainted): 2/537. His saying: Laysa 'alayka hudahum wa-lakinna Allaha yahdi man yasha'u (Not upon you is [responsibility for] their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills): 272: 2/537. His saying: Wa-ma tunfiqu min khayrin fali-anfusikum (And whatever you spend of good is for yourselves): 2/538. His saying: Fali-anfusikum (Is for yourselves): 2/539. His saying: Lil-fuqara'i alladhina uhsiru fi sabili Allahi (For the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah): 2/540. His saying: Yahsabuhumu al-jahilu aghniya'a min al-ta'affufi (An ignorant [person] will think them rich because of their restraint): 2/541. His saying: Ta'rifuhum bi-simahum (You will know them by their sign): 2/541. His saying: La yas'aluna al-nasa ilhafan (They do not ask people persistently [at all]): 2/541. His saying: Wa-ma tunfiqu min khayrin fa-inna Allaha bihi 'alimun (And whatever you spend of good, indeed, Allah is Knowing of it): 2/542. His saying: Alladhina yunfiquna amwalahum bi-al-layli wa-al-nahari sirran wa-'alaniyah (Those who spend their wealth [in charity] by night and by day, secretly and publicly): 274: 2/542. His saying: Falahum ajruhum 'inda rabbihim wa-la khawfun 'alayhim wa-la hum yahzanuna (For them is their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve): 2/543. His saying: Alladhina ya'kuluna al-riba (Those who consume interest): 275: 2/544. His saying: La yaqumuna (They cannot stand): 2/544. His saying: Illa kama yaqumu alladhi yatakhabbatuhu al-shaytanu min al-massi (Except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity by [his] touch): 2/544.
