And the Second Perspective:
2587 - 'Abd Allah b. Hilal al-Rab'i al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Ahmad b. Abi al-Hawwari reported to us, Ishaq b. 'Abd al-Mu'min al-Dimashqi reported to us, from Abu al-'Abbas al-Darir, regarding His saying: "Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?"—he mentions his Lord in his heart, until He permits him.
His saying, the Exalted: "He knows what is before them and what will be after them."
[The First Perspective]
2588 - My father narrated to us, Abu Hudhayfah reported to us, Shibl reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid: "He knows what is before them"—[meaning] what has passed of the world. It was reported from al-Suddi similarly.
The Second Perspective:
2589 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad b. 'Isa reported to us, 'Amr b. Humran reported to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah: "He knows what is before them"—[meaning] concerning the affairs of the Hour.
The Third Perspective:
2590 - Muhammad b. Sa'd b. 'Atiyyah informed us in what he wrote to me: My father narrated to me, my paternal uncle narrated to me, my father narrated to me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas: "He knows what is before them"—he says: He knows what they have sent forth of their deeds.
The Fourth Perspective:
2591 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Nasr b. 'Ali reported to us, my father narrated to me, Shu'bah reported to us, from Isma'il b. Abi Khalid, from Abu Salih: "He knows what is before them"—[meaning] that with which the [previous] nations were destroyed.
His saying: "And what will be after them"
[The First Perspective]
2592 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi: "And what will be after them"—he said: The Hereafter. It was reported from Mujahid similarly.
2593 - 'Abd Allah b. Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn b. 'Ali reported to us, 'Amir reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "And what will be after them"—he said: What is after them of the affairs of the Hereafter.
