4017 - Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Musa ibn Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "And whatever they do of good," he said: Whatever the son of Adam does of good.

4018 - 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad al-Dashtaki mentioned, my father narrated to us, 'Attaf ibn Ghazwan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Mis'ar narrated to us, he said: I asked Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah about the saying of Allah: "And whatever they do of good - never will it be denied to them," so Allah expanded for them [the reward] for voluntary acts, regarding the Jews and the Bedouins.

4021 - My father narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Ahmad al-Khazzar narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Sulayman—meaning al-Razi—narrated to us, from al-Mughirah ibn Muslim, from Maymun Abu Hamzah, he said: I was sitting with Abu Wa'il when a man entered upon him called Abu 'Afif, one of the companions of Mu'adh. He said: A people who feared shirk (polytheism) and the worship of idols, and they were sincere in their worship to Allah; so they will pass [safely] to Paradise.
