A similar narration was reported from al-Hasan, al-Dahhak, al-Suddi, and Qatadah.
Second Aspect:
[7000] Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim al-Harawi narrated to us, Hajjaj narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn 'Ata' informed me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The al-akmah is the blind man whose eye is wiped smooth.
Third Aspect:

[7002] My father narrated to us, Nasr ibn 'Aliya narrated to us, Hafs ibn 'Umar narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from 'Ikrimah, regarding the al-akmah, he said: The myopic (al-a'mash).
His saying, the Exalted: "And when you bring forth the dead by My permission"
[7003] My father narrated to us, Malik ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Talhah—meaning Ibn Musarrif—narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Abu al-Hudhayl, who said: 'Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, when he wanted to bring the dead to life, he would pray two rak'ahs; he would recite in the first [rak'ah] "Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion" (Surat al-Mulk), and in the second, "Alif-Lam-Mim. The revelation" (Surat al-Sajdah). When he finished them, he would praise Allah and extol Him, then he would call upon Him with seven names: "O Ancient, O Hidden, O Eternal, O Unique, O One, O Single, O Sustainer (Samad)." And whenever he was afflicted by hardship, he would call upon Him with seven others: "O Living, O Self-Sustaining, O Allah, O Most Merciful, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Light of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the Great Throne, O Lord."
(1). Ibn Kathir said: This is a very strange report (athar), 3/218.
