7302 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim informed us in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "So the root of the people who committed wrong was cut off," he says: The origin of those who committed wrong was cut off.
7303 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, who said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "So the root of the people who committed wrong was cut off," he said: The people were utterly rooted out.
His saying: "And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

7304 - 'Ali ibn Tahir al-Razi narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-'Ala' Abu Kurayb narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Zayyat narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah narrated to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas who said:
Then Gabriel said: "Say, O Muhammad: 'Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.'" He said: Say, O Muhammad, "To Allah belongs all of creation, all the heavens and those within them, all the earths and those within them, and whatever is between them of that which is known and that which is not known."
7305 - My father narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi informed us, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah: "Lord of the worlds." He said: Mankind is a world, the jinn are a world, and other than that are eighteen thousand worlds, or fourteen thousand worlds of angels. Upon the earth there are four corners; in each corner are three thousand five hundred worlds, which He created for His worship.
7306 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, al-Furat ibn al-Walid narrated to us, from Mughith ibn Sumayy, from Tabi' regarding the saying of Allah: "Lord of the worlds," he said: The worlds are a thousand nations, six hundred in the sea, and four hundred on the land.
7307 - 'Ali ibn Harb al-Mawsili narrated to us, Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Husayn ibn Waqid, from Matar al-Warraq, from Qatadah, regarding the saying of Allah: "Lord of the worlds," he said: Whatever He has described of His creation.
