The Muslims, and he killed a man, then he charged and killed another, then he charged and killed another. Then he said: 'Will Islam benefit me after this?' They said: 'We do not know until we mention that to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' He said: So they mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: 'Yes.'
He then struck his horse and entered among them, then he charged at his companions and killed a man, then another, then another, then he was killed. He said: They consider that this verse was revealed regarding him: 'Those who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice, those will have security, and they are guided.'
His saying: 'and they are guided.'
7546 - My father narrated to us, Yusuf ibn Musa al-Qattan narrated to us, Mihran ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from his father, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas who said: We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on a journey, when a Bedouin approached him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, by the One who sent you with the truth, I have left my lands, my possessions, and my wealth to be guided by your guidance and to take from your words. I did not reach you until I had no food left but the green plants of the earth. So, offer [the religion] to me.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, offered it to him, and he accepted. We crowded around him, and the hoof of his young camel stepped into a rodent's burrow, causing the Bedouin to fall, and his neck was broken. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'He spoke the truth. By the One who sent me with the truth, he came out from his lands, his possessions, and his wealth to be guided by my guidance and take from my words, and he did not reach me until he had no food but the green plants of the earth. Have you heard of the one who did little but was rewarded much? This is one of them. Have you heard of those who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice, those will have security, and they are guided? Indeed, this is one of them.'
7547 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq: 'Those will have security, and they are guided,' and guidance in the argument is through knowledge and steadfastness.
7548 - My father narrated to us, Muqatil ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Mu'alla, the nephew of Zubayd al-Yami, narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Khaythamah, from Abu Dawud, from 'Abd Allah ibn Sakhbarah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Whoever is tested and remains patient, is given and remains grateful, is wronged and forgives, and wrongs [others] and asks for forgiveness.' Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, remained silent. It was said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is for him?' He said: 'Those will have security, and they are guided.'
الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَقَتَلَ رَجُلا، ثُمَّ حَمَلَ فَقَتَلَ آخَرَ، ثُمَّ حَمَلَ فَقَتَلَ آخَرَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيَنْفَعُنِي الإِسْلامُ بَعْدَ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا: مَا نَدْرِي حَتَّى نَذْكُرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. قَالَ: فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ.
فَضَرَبَ فَرَسَهُ فَدَخَلَ فِيهِمْ، ثُمَّ حَمَلَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَتَلَ رَجُلا، ثُمَّ آخَرَ، ثُمَّ آخَرَ، ثُمَّ قُتِلَ. قال: فيرون أن هذه الآية فنزلت فِيهِ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ أُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الأَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ.
٧٥٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا مِهْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَسِيرٍ سراة، إِذْ عَرَضَ لَهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَقَدْ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ بِلادِي وَتِلادِي وَمَالِي لأَهْتَدِيَ بِهُدَاكَ وَآخُذَ مِنْ قَوْلِكَ، فَمَا بَلَغْتُكَ حَتَّى مالي طَعَامٌ إِلا مِنْ خَضِرِ الأَرْضِ، فَاعْرِضْ عَلَيَّ. فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَبِلَ، فَازْدَحَمْنَا حَوْلَهُ، فَدَخَلَ خُفَّ بَكْرِهِ فِي بَيْتِ جُرْذَانٍ، فَتَرَدَّى الأَعْرَابِيُّ فَانْكَسَرَتْ عُنُقُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
صَدَقَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ لَقَدْ خَرَجَ مِنْ بِلادِهِ وَتِلادِهِ وَمَالِهِ، يَهْتَدِي بِهُدَايَ، وَيَأْخُذُ مِنْ قولي، فما بلغني حتى ما له طَعَامٌ إِلا مِنْ خَضِرِ الأَرْضِ، أَسَمِعْتُمْ بِالَّذِي عَمِلَ قَلِيلا وَجُزِيَ كَثِيرًا؟ هَذَا مِنْهُمْ. أَسَمِعْتُمْ ب الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ، أُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الأَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ؟ فَإِنَّ هَذَا مِنْهُمْ.
٧٥٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ: أُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الأَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ، وَالْهُدَى فِي الْحُجَّةِ بِالْمَعْرِفَةِ وَالاسْتِقَامَةِ.
٧٥٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُقَاتِلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى ابْنِ أَخِي زُبَيْدٍ الْيَامِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَخْبَرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ فَصَبَرَ، وَأُعْطِيَ فَشَكَرَ، وَظُلِمَ فَغَفَرَ وَظَلَمَ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ، ثُمَّ سَكَتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا لَهُ؟ قَالَ: أُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الأَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ.
