And the same was narrated from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, and 'Uthman ibn 'Ata'.
The Second Aspect:
7566 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Abu Bakr al-Hudhali, from al-Hasan regarding the saying of Allah: "The Scripture," he said: The Scripture is the Qur'an.
His saying: "And authority and prophethood."

7567 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Muslim, from 'Ikrimah, he said: The authority (al-hukm) is wisdom (al-lubb).
The Second Aspect:
7568 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn al-'Ala' said, Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Matar ibn Maymun, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: The authority is knowledge.
The Third Aspect:
7569 - Al-Ashaj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from a man, from Mujahid: The authority, he said: It is the Qur'an.
His saying: "So if these people disbelieve in it."

7570 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding his saying: "So if these people disbelieve in it," he says: If they disbelieve in the Qur'an.
7571 - And by the same chain, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding his saying: "So if these people disbelieve in it," he means the people of Makkah.
It was narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, Qatadah, and al-Dahhak something similar to that.
It was narrated from al-Suddi, he said: The Quraysh.
7572 - Al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding his saying: "So if these people disbelieve in it," he means Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
The Second Aspect:
7573 - Yahya ibn 'Abdak narrated to us, Hassan ibn Hassan narrated to us, Abu Hilal narrated to us, from al-Hasan regarding his saying: "So if these people disbelieve in it," if your nation disbelieves in it.

٧٥٦٩ - حَدَّثَنَا الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ:
الْحُكْمَ قَالَ هُوَ الْقُرْآنُ.
قَوْلُهُ: فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا

٧٥٧٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَؤُلاءِ يَقُولُ: إِنْ يَكْفُرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ.
٧٥٧١ - وَبِهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَؤُلاءِ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ.
وَرُوِيَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَالضَّحَّاكِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
وَرُوِيَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ قُرَيْشٌ.
٧٥٧٢ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ «١» ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلَهُ فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَؤُلاءِ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٧٥٧٣ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدَكَ ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا أَبُو هِلالٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَؤُلاءِ إِنْ يَكْفُرْ بها أمتك.
