7657 - Al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us from al-Zuhri that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon some of his wives, and there was a woman of good appearance. He asked, "Who is this?" She said, "Khalidah bint al-Aswad." He said, "Glory be to Allah who brings the living out of the dead." She was a righteous woman, while her father was a disbeliever.
The Second Aspect:
7658 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah narrated to us from Isra'il from al-Sudi, from someone who narrated to him from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "He brings the living out of the dead," he said: He brings forth a human being from a drop of fluid (nutfa).
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Mujahid, al-Nakha'i, Qatadah, and al-Dahhak something similar to that.
7659 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us from Sufyan from al-Sudi from Abu Malik, regarding His saying: "He brings the living out of the dead," he said: The palm tree from the date stone, and the ear of corn from the grain.
7660 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Tumaylah narrated to us, Abu al-Munib narrated to us from 'Ikrimah regarding: "He brings the living out of the dead and is the bringer of the dead out of the living," he said: The egg comes out from the living, and it is dead, then the living comes out from it.
The saying of the Almighty: "...and is the bringer of the dead out of the living."
[The First Aspect]
7661 - Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Mus'ab al-Suri informed us, Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah and Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us from Sulayman al-Taymi from Abu 'Uthman from Salman, he said: 'Umar said: Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, fermented the clay of Adam for forty days, then He placed His hand upon it; whatever was good rose on one side, and whatever was evil rose on the other. Then He mixed some of it with some. Mu'ammal gestured with his hand and said: "Like this," and he blended one of them with the other, then He created Adam from it. From there, He brings the living out of the dead and is the bringer of the dead out of the living; He brings the believer out of the disbeliever and brings the disbeliever out of the believer.
It was narrated from al-Hasan and Qatadah something similar to that.
