7685 - Abu Muhammad said: Reliable narrators reported from Ibn Abi Khalid, from al-Nakha'i, from Ibn Mas'ud: "Its settlement is in the womb."
The Third Aspect:
7686 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn al-Taymi narrated to us from Layth, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "Its settlement is where it dwells."
The Fourth Aspect:
7687 - al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Usamah and Ahmad ibn Bashir narrated to us from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, he heard al-Suddi saying—in the hadith of Ahmad ibn Bashir from al-Suddi—regarding "so there is [for each] a place of settlement and a place of storage": He said: "The settlement is what has been completed of its creation."
The Fifth Aspect:
7688 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Raja' narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us from Abu Yahya, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "So there is [for each] a place of settlement and a place of storage," he said: "The settlement is in the earth."
The Sixth Aspect:
7689 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mani' narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, Mansur narrated to us from al-Hasan, regarding His saying: "A place of settlement," he said: "The settlement is for the one who has died, and his deeds have settled with him."
The Seventh Aspect:
7690 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to us, Yunus—meaning Ibn Muhammad—narrated to us, Ya'qub al-Ash'ari al-Qummi narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah narrated to us; I asked him and said: "So there is [for each] a place of settlement and a place of storage?" He said: "The settlement is in the loins of men."
The Eighth Aspect:
7691 - My father narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Nufayl narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, Kulthum ibn Jabr narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding His saying: "So there is [for each] a place of settlement and a place of storage," he said: "When they have settled in the wombs of women, or upon the back of the earth, or inside it, they have indeed settled."
