His saying, the Almighty: "And corrected [themselves]."

[6159] Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "And corrected [themselves]," meaning: "And corrected their deeds."

[6160] Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd Allah ibn al-Munadi informed us in what he wrote to me, Yunus ibn Muhammad al-Mu'addib narrated to us, Shayban al-Nahwi narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding "And corrected [themselves]," he said: "They corrected what was between them and between Allah and His Messenger."

His saying, the Almighty: "And held fast to Allah."

[6161] My father narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Rafi' narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn 'Amir—narrated to us, from al-Rabi'—meaning Ibn Anas—regarding His saying: "And held fast to Allah," he said: "Holding fast is trust in Allah."

His saying, the Almighty: "And purified their religion for Allah."

[6162] Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la informed us by reading, Ibn Wahb reported, Yahya ibn Ayyub informed me, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn Zahr, from Khalid ibn Abi 'Imran, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Purify your religion; a little bit of action will suffice you."

His saying, the Almighty: "For those [believers] will be with the believers, and Allah will give the believers a great reward."

[6163] Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "For those [believers]," meaning: "Those who did what Allah mentioned in this verse are those who truly believed."

His saying, the Almighty: "With the believers."

[6164] And through him, from Sa'id regarding His saying: "The believers," meaning: "The ones who believe [the truth]."

[6165] Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Abbad, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "A great reward," he said: "Paradise." It has been narrated from Abu Hurayrah, al-Hasan, 'Ikrimah, al-Dahhak, and Qatadah similarly.
