His statement, the Exalted: "They remember."

8696 - It was mentioned from al-Hasan ibn Farqad, from Salit ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Yasar, he said: I heard 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr saying: "When an impulse from Satan touches them, they reflect."

8697 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Ahmad ibn al-Sabah told us, Muhammad ibn Rabi'ah reported, from al-Hurr ibn Jurmuz, from Abu Nahshal, from al-Dahhak regarding His statement: "Indeed, those who are righteous, when an impulse from Satan touches them with afflictions, they remember," he said: He intended to commit an indecency but did not do it. Al-Hurr ibn Jurmuz said: "And al-'Ula ibn Badr said: He had already done it."

8698 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman informed me in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi: "Indeed, those who are righteous, when an impulse from Satan touches them, they remember," he says: When they slip and repent.

His statement, the Exalted: "...and then they have insight."

8699 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd al-'Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father told me, my paternal uncle al-Husayn told me, from his father, from his grandfather, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His statement: "They remember, and then they have insight," he says: They cease their disobedience, holding fast to the command of Allah, disobeying Satan.
