الترجمة · EN

His saying, the Almighty: "While they obstruct from the Sacred Mosque."

9031 - My father narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, Salamah ibn Nubayt informed us, from al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "While they obstruct from the Sacred Mosque," meaning by it: the polytheists.

9032 - Ahmad ibn Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "While they obstruct," meaning Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, from the Sacred Mosque.

9033 - My father narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Yahya ibn Abbad ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from his father: "And why should Allah not punish them while they reject the signs of Allah and deny His messengers, even if there is among them what they claim, while they obstruct from the way of Allah and the Sacred Mosque."

9034 - Muhammad ibn al-Abbas narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Amr Zunayj narrated to us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, regarding His saying: "While they obstruct from the Sacred Mosque," meaning those who believed in Allah and worshipped Him, [meaning] you and those who followed you.

His saying, the Almighty: "And they were not its allies. Its allies are none but the righteous."

9035 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah ibn Sawwar narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "Its allies are none but the righteous," whomever they may be, wherever they may be.

9036 - Ahmad ibn Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, "And they were not its allies. Its allies are none but the righteous," they are the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and may Allah be pleased with them.

9037 - Muhammad ibn al-Abbas, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr.
