His saying, the Almighty: "Inventing lies against Allah"
7946 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi informed us, in what he wrote to me: al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi told us, Shayban told us, from Qatadah: Regarding His saying: "And have forbidden what Allah has provided for them, inventing lies against Allah. They have gone astray and were not guided," he said: They are the people of the Jahiliyyah; they designated the bahirah, the sa'ibah, the wasilah, and the hami as a prohibition from the Shaytan, and they forbade [parts of] their livestock and their crops; thus, that was from the Shaytan, inventing lies against Allah.
His saying, the Almighty: "They have gone astray"
7947 - It was mentioned from Abu Mu'awiyah, from al-A'mash, from Abu Razin: Regarding His saying: "They have gone astray," he said: They went astray by killing their children.

His saying: "And give its due [zakah] on the day of its harvest"
7949 - From Ibn Sirin, regarding His saying: "And give its due on the day of its harvest," he said: They used to give something to whoever they encountered.
