The second interpretation:
8267 - Muhammad ibn Sa‘d al-‘Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father told me, my paternal uncle told me, from his father, from Ibn ‘Abbas: regarding His saying: "Get out of it, disgraced (madh’uman)," he said: Small [and insignificant].
The third interpretation:
8268 - Sa‘dan ibn Nasr al-Baghdadi told us, Miskin ibn Bukayr al-Hadhdha’ told us, Warqa’ told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid: regarding His saying: "madh’uman," i.e., banished (manfiyyan).
The fourth interpretation:
8269 - My father told us, Abu Salih the scribe of al-Layth told us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Salih told me, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn ‘Abbas: regarding His saying: "madh’uman," he says: Blamed (maluman). It was narrated from ‘Ata’ al-Khurasani something similar.
The fifth interpretation:
8270 - My father told us, Ahmad ibn al-Sabah told us, al-Khaffaf informed us, Sa‘id told us, from Qatadah: "madh’uman" means reviled (ma‘yuban).

8271 - My father told us, Ibn Abi ‘Umar al-‘Adani told us, Sufyan told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Tamimi, that he asked Ibn ‘Abbas: regarding His saying: "madhuran," he said: Abhorred (maqitan). It was narrated from Mujahid something similar.
The second interpretation:
8272 - Muhammad ibn Sa‘d al-‘Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father told me, my paternal uncle told me, from his father, from his father, from Ibn ‘Abbas: regarding His saying: "madhuran," he says: Abhorred (maqitan).
The third interpretation:
8273 - Al-‘Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Yazid informed us by way of reading, Muhammad ibn Shu‘ayb ibn Shabur informed us, ‘Uthman ibn ‘Ata’ informed me, from his father: regarding His saying: "madhuran," means blamed (maluman).
His saying, the Almighty: "Whoever follows you among them, I will surely fill Hell with you all together."
8274 - My father told us, Mansur ibn Abi Muzahim told us, Abu Sa‘id al-Mu’addib told us, from Idris ibn Yazid al-Awdi, from ‘Atiyyah al-‘Awfi, from Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: Hell will say: "O Lord, You have promised that You would fill me." Allah will say: "So it is." And Hell will say: "Is there more? Is there more?" and the promise of our Lord will be fulfilled.
