His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them."

[The First Aspect]

8459 - al-Mundhir ibn Shadhan told us, Ya'la told us, Abu Sinan told us, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas: regarding His saying: "the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them," he said: He intends by it the disbelievers, in that Heaven will not be opened for their souls, while it is opened for the souls of the believers. It is narrated from al-Dahhak something similar.
