10508 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman told us, from al-Husayn ibn 'Ali, 'Amir ibn al-Furat told us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers," he says: "To turn us away from our deities."

His saying, the Almighty: "And that you two may have greatness in the land"

10509 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, from Warqa', from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "greatness in the land" (al-kibriya' fi al-ard): authority.

10510 - My father told us, Abu Ma'mar Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, Sa'id ibn Muhammad al-Thaqafi told us, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid, regarding "And that you two may have greatness in the land," he said: "Magnificence in the land."

His saying, the Almighty: "And we are not believers in you both"
