His saying, the Almighty: "Acquainted (Khabir)"
10634 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi told us, Yazid ibn Zuray', from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Wise, Acquainted": He said: "Acquainted with His creation."
10635 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad told us, Adam told us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi told us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "Wise": He said: "Wise in His command."
His saying, the Almighty: "That you worship none but Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings"
10636 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj told us, Ibn Numayr told us, al-A'mash told us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "O Children of 'Abd al-Muttalib, O Children of Fihr, O Children of... Do you see if I told you that there are horses at the base of this mountain intending to raid you, would you believe me?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Then I am a warner to you before a severe punishment."
10637 - My father told us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih told us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah al-Fazari told us, from Shayban al-Nahwi, Qatadah informed me, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "A warner against the Fire," and "a bringer of good tidings," he said: "A bearer of glad tidings of Paradise."
His saying, the Almighty: "And [saying], 'Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him'"

10639 - My father mentioned it, he said: He mentioned, from Abu Kuzaynah, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding: "He will let you enjoy a good enjoyment": He said: "He will let you enjoy in the world."
10640 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath told us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali ibn Mihran told us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat told us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik and Abu Salih, from Ibn 'Abbas, and from Murrah al-Hamadhani, from Ibn Mas'ud regarding: "He will let you enjoy a good enjoyment": He says: "He will let you enjoy in the world."
