The Second Aspect:

10679 - Abu ‘Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Hammad al-Tahrani told us, Hafs ibn ‘Umar told us, al-Hakam ibn Aban told us, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: The "dwelling place" (mustaqarr) is what was in the wombs of women. It was narrated from Ibn Mas‘ud, Qays ibn Abi Hatim, Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, ‘Ata’, Mujahid, al-Nakha‘i, al-Dahhak, Qatadah, al-Suddi, and ‘Ata’ al-Khurasani something similar.

Abu Muhammad said: The reliable narrators narrated it from Abu Khalid, from al-Nakha‘i, from Ibn Mas‘ud, who said: "Its dwelling place is in the womb."

10681 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashaj told us, ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us, from Isra’il, from al-Suddi, from someone who told him, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding "And He knows its dwelling place," he said: "Its dwelling place is on the earth."

The Fourth Aspect:

10682 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashaj told us, Abu Usamah and Ahmad ibn Bashir told us, from Isma‘il ibn Khalid, from al-Suddi, he said: The dwelling place is what has been completed of its creation.
