The Third Aspect:

10858 - My father told us, Ya‘qub al-Dawraqi told us, Hushaym told us, from al-‘Awwam ibn Hawshab, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And the oven gushed over," he said: "The oven is the face of the earth. It was said to him: 'When you see water on the face of the earth, then embark, you and those who follow you.'" He said: "The Arabs call the face of the earth the oven of the earth."

It was also narrated from ‘Ikrimah that he said: "The face of the earth."

The Fourth Aspect

10859 - My father told us, Abu al-Jumahir told us, Sa‘id ibn Bashir told us, from Qatadah, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And the oven gushed over," [it is] the spring that is in al-Jazirah, the Spring of al-Wardah.

10860 - ‘Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Hisinjani told us, Abu al-Jumahir told us, Sa‘id ibn Bashir told us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "And the oven gushed over," he said: "The gushing of the oven is a sign between Noah and his Lord, and the oven is the most noble part of the earth and its highest point, a spring in al-Jazirah, the Spring of al-Wardah."

The Fifth Aspect:

10861 - My father told us, Sahl ibn ‘Uthman told us, Abu Yahya al-Himmani told us, from Nasr ibn Abi ‘Umar, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And the oven gushed over," he said: "[It is] in India."

The Sixth Aspect:

10862 - Muhammad ibn Sa‘d informed us in what he wrote to me, my father told us, my uncle told us, my father told us, from his father, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And the oven gushed over," he said: "When you see your family's oven water gushing out from it, that is the destruction of your people."

10863 - My father told us, Sahl ibn ‘Uthman told us, Mahbub al-Qawariri told us, from Talhah, who said: I heard ‘Ata’ saying: "It reached me that Noah, peace be upon him, said to his maidservant: 'When your oven gushes with water, inform me.'" ‘Ata’ said: "It reached me that when she finished her last baking, the oven gushed over, so she went to her master and informed him. He then embarked, he and those with him, onto the highest part of the Ark, and Allah opened the sky with pouring water and caused the earth to gush with springs."
