الترجمة · EN

Salsal is water that falls upon good soil, then recedes from it, causing it to dry out, and then it becomes like thin pottery.

12372 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, he said: Salsal is dry earth that is moistened after it has dried.

12373 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, he said: Salsal is clay mixed with sand.

12374 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, he said: Salsal is that which, when you strike it, it rings (salsala).

12375 - From Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Salsal is dry earth that makes a ringing sound.

12376 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, he said: Salsal is clay that you squeeze with your hand, and the water comes out from between your fingers.

His saying: "From altered black mud."

12377 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, regarding His saying: "From altered black mud," he said: From moist clay.

12378 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, regarding His saying: "From altered black mud," he said: From stinking clay.

His saying: "And the jinn We created before from the fire of scorching wind."

12379 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, regarding His saying: "And the jinn We created before from the fire of scorching wind," he said: It means from the best of people.

12380 - From Ibn Abbas, regarding His saying: "From the fire of scorching wind," he said: The Samum is the hot wind that kills.

12381 - From Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The scorching wind from which he was created,
