[Surat al-Nahl]

His saying: "The command of Allah has come, so do not be impatient for it."

12458 - It was narrated from Yahya ibn Adam, from Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the freedman (mawla) of al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, from Ka'b ibn Alqamah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hujayrah, from Uqbah ibn Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There shall rise upon you, before the Hour, a black cloud from the west, like a shield, and it will continue to rise in the sky. Then a caller will call out within it: 'O people!' So the people will turn to one another, saying: 'Did you hear?' Some will say: 'Yes,' and some will be in doubt. Then he will call a second time: 'O people!' So the people will say to one another: 'Did you hear?' They will say: 'Yes.' Then he will call a third time: 'O people, the command of Allah has come, so do not be impatient for it.'" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "By Him in whose hand is my soul, two men might be trading a garment, yet they shall never fold it; a man might be preparing his basin, yet he shall never drink anything from it; and a man might be milking his she-camel, yet he shall never drink it." He said: "And the people will be occupied."

12459 - From Abu Bakr ibn Hafs, he said: When "The command of Allah has come" was revealed, they stood up, then "so do not be impatient for it" was revealed.

12460 - From Uqbah ibn Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There shall rise upon you, before the Hour, a black cloud from the west, like a shield, and it will continue to rise in the sky until it fills the sky. Then a caller will call out: 'O people!' So the people will turn to one another: 'Did you hear?' Some will say: 'Yes,' and some will be in doubt. Then he will call a second time: 'O people!' The people will say: 'Did you hear?' They will say: 'Yes.' Then he will call: 'O people, the command of Allah has come, so do not be impatient for it.'" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
