"By Him in whose hand is my soul, two men might be spreading out a garment, yet they shall never fold it; a man might be filling his basin, yet he shall never drink anything from it; and a man might be milking his she-camel, yet he shall never drink it, and the people will be occupied."

12461 - From al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "The command of Allah has come, so do not be impatient for it," he said: The rulings, the fixed legal boundaries (hudud), and the obligatory duties.

His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command."

12462 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: With the revelation (al-wahy). From Ibn Abbas, he said: The Spirit (al-Ruh) is a matter from the affair of Allah and a creation from the creation of Allah, and He fashioned them in the image of the children of Adam. No angel descends from the heaven but that there is with him one of the Spirits. Then he recited: "The day the Spirit and the angels stand in rows."

12463 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: No angel descends but that there is with him a spirit acting as a protector over him; he does not speak, nor does any angel or anything of what Allah has created see him.

12464 - From Qatadah regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: With the revelation and the mercy.

12465 - From al-Hasan regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: With prophethood.

12466 - From al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: The Quran.

12467 - From al-Rabi' ibn Anas regarding His saying: "He sends down the angels with the Spirit (al-Ruh) of His command," he said: Everything our Lord has spoken is a spirit from His command. He said: With mercy and revelation upon whom He wills of His servants, so He chooses from among them messengers, "that you warn that there is no god but Me, so fear Me." He said: With this, Allah sent the messengers, that Allah be worshipped alone, His command be obeyed, and His wrath be avoided.

His saying: "In them you have warmth and benefits."

12468 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "In them you have warmth," he said: Garments. "And benefits," he said: That which you benefit from in terms of foods and drinks.
