الترجمة · EN

11430 - My father narrated to us, [saying] 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Munib narrated to us, [saying] Abu Mu'adh al-Nahwi narrated to us, from 'Ubayd ibn Sulayman, from al-Dahhak, meaning his saying: "And they were of him among those who were indifferent," [he said]: They were indifferent toward him, so they sold him, and his sale was forbidden, yet they sold him.

11431 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, [saying] al-Qasim ibn Khalifah al-Shi'i narrated to us, [saying] 'Amr ibn Muhammad al-'Anqazi narrated to us, from Abu Rawq, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak regarding "And they were of him among those who were indifferent," he said: They did not know of his prophethood, nor of his status with Allah.

11432 - 'Abd Allah narrated to us, [saying] al-Husayn narrated to us, [saying] 'Amir narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi regarding "And they were of him among those who were indifferent," he said: They were of those who were indifferent toward Joseph.

His saying, the Almighty: "And the one who bought him from Egypt said to his wife"

11433 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd informed us, in what he wrote to me, [saying] my father narrated to me, [saying] my uncle narrated to me, [saying] my father narrated to me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding his saying: "And the one who bought him from Egypt said to his wife," he said: The name of the one who bought him was Qitfir.

11434 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, [saying] Shababah narrated to us, from Warqa', from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, he said: His brothers followed them, saying to the one who let down the bucket and his companions: "Be firm with him, so he does not escape," until they brought him to Egypt. He [the merchant] said: "Who will buy me and [give me] good news?" So the King bought him, and the King was a Muslim.

11435 - 'Abd Allah narrated to us, [saying] al-Husayn narrated to us, [saying] 'Amir narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, he said: They took him to Egypt, and the Aziz, the King of Egypt, bought him, and he took him to his house.

His saying, the Almighty: "to his wife"

11436 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us, [saying] 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us, [saying] Salamah ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, he said: When Qitfir took possession of him, he gave him to his wife, and his wife's name was Ra'il bint Ra'a'il.

His saying, the Almighty: "Honor his resting place"

11437 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying] Safwan narrated to us, [saying] al-Walid narrated to us, [saying] Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding "Honor his resting place": [It means] his station.
