13097 - From al-Hasan regarding "He called to her from beneath her," he said: "It is Jesus."

13098 - From Qatadah regarding "He called to her from beneath her," meaning the angel from beneath the palm tree.

13099 - From al-Hasan who said: "Whoever reads it as 'min tahtiha' (from beneath her), it is Gabriel, and whoever reads it as 'man tahtaha' (who was beneath her), it is Jesus."

13100 - From al-Hasan regarding His saying: "Your Lord has provided a sariyan (a stream) beneath you," he said: "A prophet, and he is Jesus."

13101 - From Jarir ibn Hazim, he said: "Muhammad ibn 'Abbad ibn Ja'far asked me, 'What do your companions say regarding His saying: "Your Lord has provided a sariyan beneath you"?' I said to him: 'I heard Qatadah saying: A rivulet.' He said: 'Then inform Qatadah on my behalf, for the Quran was revealed in our language, and it is indeed a noble man (sirri)."

13102 - From Ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "Your Lord has provided a sariyan beneath you," meaning himself, meaning he was more noble than him. It was said: 'Then those who say 'the sari' is a body of water?' He said: 'It is not so; if it were so, it would be to her side and not a river beneath her.'

13103 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Your Lord has provided a sariyan beneath you," he said: "The river of Jesus."

13104 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "Sariyan," he said: "A river in Syriac."

13105 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Sariyan," he said: "A river in Coptic."

His saying, the Almighty: "And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates."

13106 - From Ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree," he said: "Move it."

13107 - From Mujahid regarding "And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree," he said: "It was 'Ajwa (a type of date)."

13108 - From al-Hasan that he recited it as "yusaqat" (it will drop) with the letter 'ya', referring to the trunk.
