which used to cause people to die in the world. There will remain no one in Illiyin nor in the lowest degree of Paradise but will look at it. Then a caller will call out: "O people of the Fire, this is Death, which used to cause people to die in the world." There will remain no one in the shallow parts of the Fire nor in the lowest depths of Hell but will look at it. Then it will be slaughtered between Paradise and the Fire. Then a caller will call out: "O people of Paradise, it is eternity forever and ever. And O people of the Fire, it is eternity forever and ever." The people of Paradise will rejoice with a joy such that if anyone could die from joy, they would have died, and the people of the Fire will gasp a gasp such that if anyone could die from gasping, they would have died. That is [the meaning of] His saying: "And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter has been decided." He says: When death is slaughtered.

13137 - Hudbah ibn Khalid al-Qaysi mentioned: Hazm ibn Abi Hazm al-Qata'i narrated to us, saying: Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz wrote to Abd al-Hamid ibn Abd al-Rahman, the governor of Kufa: "To proceed: Indeed, Allah ordained death upon His creation when He created them, making their return to Him. And He said, in what He sent down of His truthful Book, which He preserved by His knowledge, and [for which] He called His angels to witness regarding His creation: 'That He inherits the earth and whoever is on it, and to Him they will be returned.'"

13138 - From Anas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The right of a father over his child is that he should not call him by anything other than what Ibrahim called his father, 'O my father,' and he should not call him by his name."

13139 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "I will surely stone you," he said: I will surely revile you. "And leave me for a while [maliyan]," he said: for a time.

13140 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And leave me for a while," he said: Avoid me safely, before a punishment from me afflicts you.

13141 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Indeed, He has ever been to me gracious [hafiyan]," he said: Kind.

13142 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "Indeed, He has ever been to me gracious," he said: He accustomed me to answering [my prayers].

From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And We gave him Isaac and Jacob," he said: He says: We gave him Isaac as a son, and Jacob as his son's son.

13143 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And We granted them a tongue of truth, high [aliyan]," he said: Good praise."
