13470 - From Ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding: "Your appointment is the Day of the Festival," he said: "The day of the Eid; people become free from work, witness, attend, and see."
13471 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And that the people be gathered at the forenoon," he said: "They shall gather for that appointment which they were promised."
13472 - From Abu Nihayk that he read: "Wa-an tuhshara an-nasu duha" (And that you gather the people at the forenoon), with the "ta" (referring to the second person), meaning: "Pharaoh gathers his people."

13478 - From my father, from Muhammad ibn Musa al-Shaybani, from Hammad ibn Khalid, from Ibn Mu'adh—I believe he is al-Sa'igh—from al-Hasan, from Jundub ibn 'Abd Allah al-Bajali, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you seize him," meaning the magician, "then kill him." Then he recited: "And the magician will not succeed wherever he may come from." He said: "He does not believe wherever he is found."
