the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) [continued]: "As for its inhabitants who are its [rightful] inhabitants, they will neither die therein nor live. As for those who are not its inhabitants, the Fire will cause them to die an absolute death. Then, the intercessors will arise, and they will be brought in groups to a river called the River of Life—or the River of Water of Life—and they will grow as vegetation grows in the silt of a flood."
13485 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said: "Harun passed by the Samiri while he was carving the calf. He said to him: 'What are you doing?' He replied: 'I am making something that harms and does not benefit.' Harun said: 'O Allah, give him what he asked for, based on what is in his soul.' Harun then left. The Samiri said: 'O Allah, I ask You to make it low.' So it lowed; whenever it lowed, they would prostrate to it, and whenever it stopped lowing, they would raise their heads."
