His saying, the Exalted: "And the good things are for the good ones."
14321 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, [saying]: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muslim ibn Hurmuz, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, in one of the narrations from Ibn 'Abbas: "And the good things are for the good ones"—he said: The good things of speech are for the good ones among the people. Similar [interpretation] has been reported from Sa'id ibn Jubayr in one of the narrations, and from al-Hasan, Mujahid, and al-Dahhak.
14322 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying]: Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, [saying]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, [saying]: 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And the good things"—meaning the good [type] of speech, [pertaining to] the men and the women.
14323 - Al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Mazyad al-Bayruti informed us by way of reading, [saying]: Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb informed me, [saying]: 'Uthman ibn 'Ata' informed me, from his father: As for "And the good things are for the good ones," it means righteous deeds and good speech are for the good people. "And they have been guided to good speech, and they have been guided to the path of the Praiseworthy."
14324 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, [saying]: Al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, [saying]: Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, [saying]: Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And the good things are for the good ones"—he says: The good things of speech and deed are for the good ones among the people. Similar [interpretation] has been reported from Habib ibn Abi Thabit.
His saying, the Exalted: "For the good ones."
14325 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying]: Yahya narrated to us, [saying]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, [saying]: 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And the good things are for the good ones"—meaning for the good ones among the men and women who thought well of the believing men and women.
His saying: "And the good ones are for the good things."

14327 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Ibn Khalifah narrated to us, [saying]: 'Awf narrated to us, from al-Hasan: "And the good ones are for the good things"—he said: The good ones among the people are for the good things of speech. Similar [interpretation] has been reported from Mujahid.
قوله تعالى: وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ.
١٤٣٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي إِحْدَى الرِّوَايَاتِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ قَالَ:
الطَّيِّبَاتُ مِنَ الْكَلامِ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي إِحْدَى الرِّوَايَاتِ، وَالْحَسَنِ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، وَالضَّحَّاكِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
١٤٣٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يحى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ يَعْنِى الْحَسَنُ مِنَ الْكَلامِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ.
١٤٣٢٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ قراءة، أخبرني محمد ابْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَأَمَّا الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ فَالأَعْمَالُ الصَّالِحَةُ وَالْكَلامُ الطَّيِّبُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوا إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ.
١٤٣٢٤ - حدثنا محمد بن يحي، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ يَقُولُ: الطَّيِّبَاتُ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ نَحْو ذَلِكَ.
قوله تعالى: لِلطَّيِّبِينَ.
١٤٣٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أبو زرعة، ثنا يحي حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ يَعْنِى لِلطَّيِّبِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ الَّذِينَ ظَنُّوا بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ خَيْرًا.
قوله: وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ.
١٤٣٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قوله: وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ قَالَ: الطَّيِّبُ مِنَ النَّاسِ لَهُ الطَّيِّبُ مِنَ الكلام.
١٤٣٢٧ - حدثنا أبي، ثنا بن خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عَوْفٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ قَالَ: الطَّيِّبُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ مِنَ الْكَلامِ- وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.
