14779 - It was mentioned from Sulayman ibn Harb, Hammad ibn Zayd reported to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid: "Then those are the defiantly disobedient," meaning: the disobedient.

14782 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr reported to us, Salamah reported to us, he said: Ibn Ishaq said: "Do not think" (la tahsabanna), i.e., do not assume.

14783 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, Minjab ibn al-Harith reported to us, Bishr ibn ‘Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "causing failure" (mu‘jizin), he said: "preceding [Us]." It was also narrated from Qatadah similar to that.

14784 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan reported to us, ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn reported to me, from his father, from ‘Ikrimah regarding His saying: "Do not think that those who disbelieve [are] causing failure," he says: overcoming. And when you read "mu‘jizin" (causing failure), he says: delaying.

His saying (Most High): "And their refuge is the Fire, and wretched is the destination"

14785 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr reported to us, Salamah reported to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: "And their refuge is the Fire, and wretched is the destination," meaning: Do not think that they have the outcome of victory or superiority over you as long as you hold fast to Me and follow My command.
