مجلد 8 · صفحة 227[سورة الفرقان (٢٥) : آية ١٥]

الترجمة · EN

His saying, the Almighty: "Say, is that better or the Garden of Eternity which the righteous have been promised?"

The explanation of "the righteous"—the hadith that "a man will not be among the righteous"—has preceded more than once.

His saying, the Almighty: "It will be for them a reward and a destination."

15016 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "It will be for them a reward," meaning: A reward from Allah for their deeds; "and a destination," meaning: an abode.

His saying, the Almighty: "They will have therein whatever they wish."

15017 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih, the scribe of al-Layth, reported to us, al-Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to me, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to me, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Ka'b al-Ahbar, who said: "Whoever dies while drinking wine will not drink it in the Hereafter, even if he enters Paradise." 'Ata' then said: "O Abu Ishaq, for Allah (Mighty and Majestic is He) says: 'They will have therein whatever they wish.'" Ka'b replied: "He will forget it and will not remember it."

15018 - My father narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Rafi' reported to us, Ya'qub al-Qummi reported to us, from Ja'far, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The lowest of the people of Paradise in status will have seventy thousand servants; with every servant will be a platter of gold. If all the people of the earth were to descend upon him, or were he to summon them, he would not seek aid against them from anyone else." That is concerning the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic is He): "They will have therein whatever they wish."

15019 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah reported to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham reported to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, who said: "Ibn 'Abbas was asked: 'Is there offspring in Paradise?' He replied: 'If they wish.'"

His saying, the Almighty: "Abiding therein."

15020 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr or 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Abiding therein," informing them that the reward for both good and evil remains for its people forever, having no end."
