15271 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding His saying: "and He placed between them a barrier and a forbidden partition," he said: He placed between them a screen so they do not meet. He said: And the Arabs, when one of them says something to another that he dislikes, he says: 'A screen (sitran) between me and what you are saying.'

15272 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Nufayl Muhammad ibn Salamah reported to us, from Khusayf regarding His saying: "and He placed between them a barrier and a forbidden partition," he said: A forbidden (mahjuz) boundary.

His saying, the Almighty: "And it is He who has created from the water a human being"

15273 - Ibrahim ibn Marzuq al-Basri, a resident of Egypt, narrated to us, Abu 'Amir reported to us, Mubarak ibn Fadalah reported to us, from Thumamah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was asked about 'azl (coitus interruptus), and he said: If the water from which the child is created were poured onto a rock, Allah would bring forth from it what He has decreed, for Allah is the One who creates the soul.

His saying, the Almighty: "and He made it a lineage"

15274 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and 'Uthman reported to us, saying: Abu Mu'awiyah reported to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, who said: The lineage is breastfeeding (al-rada').

15275 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray', reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And it is He who has created from the water a human being and He made it a lineage and a marriage; and ever is your Lord competent [to do what He wills]." Allah mentioned marriage along with lineage and prohibited fourteen women: seven by lineage and seven by marriage, and Allah's prohibition is equal regarding both lineage and marriage.

15276 - My father narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Ma'bad reported to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq reported to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father regarding: "a lineage and a marriage," he said: Breastfeeding is from the category of marriage (al-sihr).

15277 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu Bakr and 'Uthman reported to us, Abu Shaybah informed us, Abu Mu'awiyah reported to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, who said: The marriage (al-sihr) is the affinity by marriage (al-khutunah).
