His saying: "The people of Pharaoh, will they not fear Allah?"
15547 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, who said: Moses departed, and Pharaoh followed them with Haman in his vanguard, with one million and seven hundred thousand horses, among which there was not a single mare.
His saying, Exalted is He: "He said, 'My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me,'" up to His saying: "my tongue is not fluent."
15548 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Abi al-Thalj narrated to us, Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Asbagh ibn Zayd informed us, al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub reported to us, Sa'id ibn Jubayr reported to us, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: Moses complained to his Lord about what he feared from the people of Pharaoh regarding the slain person and the knot in his tongue, for there was a knot in his tongue that prevented him from much speech. Allah granted his request and loosened the knot of his tongue. Regarding His saying: "so send for Aaron," he said: He asked his Lord to assist him with his brother Aaron, that he might be a support for him and speak for him concerning much of what his tongue could not clearly express.
His saying: "And they have a charge against me."
15549 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "And they have a charge against me, so I fear that they will kill me," he said: The killing of the person he killed among them.
15550 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And they have a charge against me," meaning: the person whom he killed.
His saying: "So I fear that they will kill me."
15551 - 'Ammar ibn Khalid al-Wasiti narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan and Yazid ibn Harun reported to us, from Asbagh ibn Zayd, from al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub, Sa'id ibn Jubayr informed me, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "So I fear that they will kill me," he said: Moses—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—complained to his Lord about what he feared from the people of Pharaoh regarding the slain person.
His saying: "[Allah] said, 'No. Go both of you with Our signs.'"
15552 - My father narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Dawud reported to us, Hajjaj informed me, from Abu Ma'shar, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b regarding His saying: "He said, 'No,'" he said: The Almighty and Majestic says: "Kalla (No)."
