15644 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Indeed, he is your leader," meaning by their leader, Moses—may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
15645 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Isa reported to us, Salamah reported to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq: "Indeed, he is your leader who taught you magic," meaning: Indeed, he is the greatest of sorcerers who taught you magic.
His saying: "I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."
Its explanation has preceded more than once.
His saying: "They said, 'No harm.'"
15646 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh informed us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding the saying of Allah: "They said, 'No harm,'" saying: They mean: "Nothing you say or do to us will harm us, even if you crucify us."
His saying: "Indeed, to our Lord we are returning."
15647 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, 'Ata' reported to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: "Indeed, to our Lord we are returning," meaning: Indeed, to our Lord we are turning back.
His saying: "Indeed, we hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins..." up to the verse.
15648 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh informed us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "Indeed, we hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins," he said: The magic and the disbelief they were in. "That we were the first of the believers," he said: They were such on that day, the first to believe in His signs when they saw them.
