15754 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan ibn Salih reported to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim reported to us, Sa'id ibn Bashir reported to us, from Qatadah regarding the saying of Allah: "They and the ones who went astray," he said: "The devils."

His saying: "And the soldiers of Iblis, all of them."

15756 - 'Abd Allah ibn Salman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali reported to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "And the soldiers of Iblis, all of them," he said: "They are the devils."

15757 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah reported to us, Jarir reported to us, from Layth—I think—from a man, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "The jinn will not enter Paradise; rather, the believer among them will be saved from the punishment because they are the offspring of Iblis, and the offspring of Iblis will not enter Paradise."

His saying: "They will say while they are therein arguing, 'By Allah, we were indeed in clear error.'"

15758 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih reported to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "arguing [yakhtasimun]," he said: "The truthful will argue against the liar, the oppressed against the oppressor, the guided against the misguided, and the weak against the arrogant."

15759 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh informed us, he said: I heard Ibn Zayd saying: "Error is that one disbelieves after his belief."

From his father, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad, he said: "It was revealed concerning us and our Shia, to the point that we will intercede and be interceded for. When those who are not among them saw that, they said: 'So we have no intercessors, nor a close friend.'"

15760 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Hatim al-Harawi reported to us, Hajjaj informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid: "'A close friend [sadiq hamim]' is an affectionate one."

15761 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali reported to us, 'Amir reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "Nor a close friend," he says: "Nor an intercessor who cares about our affairs."
