الترجمة · EN

until the Day of Resurrection." That is His saying to the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth?" meaning what is in the seven heavens and the seven earths. "Indeed, that is in a Book," meaning in the Preserved Tablet, written before He created the heavens and the earths. "Indeed, that is easy for Allah," meaning simple (1).

14023 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him), from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "they almost seize," he said: they fall upon them (2).

14024 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding "they almost seize," he said: The disbelievers of Quraysh fall upon them (3).

14025 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "they can never create a fly," he said: The idol does not create a fly. "And if the fly should steal away from them a thing," he says: Food is placed for the idols, and the fly lands on it and eats from it, and it [the idol] is not able to rescue it from it. Then he returned to the people and the idols: "Weak is the seeker and the sought." The one who seeks from this idol, which does not create a fly, and cannot rescue what is stolen from it; and the sought is weak, which does not create a fly and does not rescue what is stolen from it (4).

14026 - From Ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal," he said: When they worship alongside Allah that which cannot even get justice against a fly (5).

14027 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the verse, he said: The one whom He chooses from among the people are the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them) (6).

14028 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "O you who have believed, bow," he said: It is only [a matter of] etiquette and admonition (7).

14029 - From al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him," he said: Strive against the enemy of Allah until they enter into Islam (8).
